It features Matt Mixes that others have put on their channels, some with great videos made by the uploaders!
After a copyright claim made by Sony against one of my remixes, which was the third claim made against me, Youtube have deleted my entire account. This means all Matt Pop mixes are gone from Youtube, except the ones that others may have copied and put on their own pages. While it is a drag for me, and everyone who subscribed to my channel, it is not unexpected and Youtube are fully in their right to do this.
The upload Sony objected to was Huelo A Soledad by Ana Gabriel. Although she is a huge star in Latin America, I know for a fact that many people around the world had never heard of her before hearing my remix. I have certainly never heard a song by her on Dutch radio. Seen in this light, you would think a record company would be pleased that their artist is being exposed to potential new markets like this – and for free! (the video had had over 140.000 views so far). In fact, there are many artists and songs you would never, ever hear, if it wasn’t for fans uploading them on Youtube.
But ofcourse, this is just my opinion and I’m sure record companies feel they are protecting their material this way, rather than cheating themselves out of getting lots of free publicity. So, back to the drawing board for Matt Pop 🙂

This very talented singer, producer and songwriter has had multiple hits in the Bilboard charts and dance charts, both in the UK and the US. Let Me Go is available for download through most major music sites.
The release date of the Peter Wilson / Matt Pop collaboration “Intoxicated” is approaching quickly (November 15). Next week, the track will be Single Of The Week on radio 100 FM in Israel, so by the time it comes out, everyone in Israel will be able to sing along 🙂
