Hazell‘s new single, featuring a banging Matt Pop club mix, will not be released in February / March, as was first intended, but in April. This is from Hazell‘s blog:

“Im glad that everyone is looking forward to my cover of Sharon Redd‘s ” In the Name of Love”. It has always been my favourite of her tracks, and the one I chose to sing at a tribute to her at “The Fridge” in Brixton, London not long after her passing. I have so many happy memories of Sharon, especially the times that she spent in my home in the last few weeks before she died.

The guys at Energise tell me that the release is scheduled for April, so not long to wait now…….”

Remember as a kid, dancing around in your room, listening to top 40 hits, dreaming of growing up to be famous and loved? Well, french alternative electro artist Pierre Pascual does, and he has written a song about it! It’s called Je Danse Dans Ma Chambre (“I Dance In My Room” ) and he asked Matt Pop for a fittingly 80’s club mix. The Matt Pop remixes of Moonlight Shadow and My Heart Will Go On are now available on the Déjà Vu album Get To You: This Is The Last Time. You can choose between the 12 inch versions or the radio edits, and they are all available on cd, and as MP3 or WAV downloads. Moonlight Shadow will also be released as a single on March 5, 2012.
