‘La verdad o la imaginación‘, Fangoria‘s highly anticipated album, their first full of new songs since 2016, will be released April 24.

Produced by Matt Pop in collaboration with Fangoria, the album is more conceptual, leaning towards a more melodic and danceable sound. Twelve new tracks, addictive and magnetic. Songs that almost always deal with relationships… with time (Todo existe a la vez, Pasará), with disappointment (El síndrome de París), with boredom and habit (Tigres de escayola), with alcohol (Consecuencias), with truth and fantasy (La verdad o la imaginación, El punto de partida, El beso que jamás te pude dar, Cada quien con su cual), and with farewells (Me voy), the song chosen as the album’s only single. The cover art and photographs, as well as the music video, were directed by Javier Biosca.

For the CD version, the four-panel gatefold comes with an acetate sleeve that includes the album title, booklet, and four postcards.

The album will be also available as a special edition double gatefold vinyl, with an acetate sleeve featuring the album title, a 24-page vinyl-sized booklet, and four 3D prints accompanied by a pair of personalized 3D glasses, which you can replace to create your own alternative cover. As a bonus, this vinyl edition includes a CD with four songs written by Fangoria and Rojuu, produced by Jon Klein, including a cover of “Heroes” and three new tracks. The CD design was created by Rojuu. These songs will only be available on this CD, which can only be obtained with the special vinyl edition of “La verdad o la imaginación,” and will not be available on digital platforms.
